a DESPERATE PLEA....!!!

Does anyone ever experience a sudden, unexplained jump in the number of messages they have on deviantart... One moment I had about 70, and the next 100! But when I went to investigate I had no new comments, like 1 new reply, 2 new activities, and a new journal... it just doesn't add up!!
