Phoenix Wright has once again led to something fabulous, am I onto something?
So lately, I've been telling my mom all about this game (because sometimes she helps me solve the cases...) and I thought she wasn't listening, but...
A few weeks ago, she tells me about this audition (for those of you who don't know, on top of being a mediocre artist, I'm also a mediocre actress!) for something that has to do with law. I'm like "sure, whatever!" and a few days later (yesterday) we go try out!
It turns out the audition is for professional "witnesses" for these law workshops in my state for student lawyers. Even if you get a crappy tiny part, you automatically get $50! (and on top of that, it's a whole weekday, so I'd get to miss school...)
The audition was super fun, it was like a little improv thing where they'd call some people up and be like "Uh-oh, some saw someone else with their boyfriend!" or "Little one, you're 13 and you, you're 40! the older one has just gotten a divorce...go!" and you'd just have to make up characters and stuff.
Well, just now I got a call and they were like "For the upcoming workshop, we want you to be the main witness!"
Apparently, I'll be a juvenille delinquent defendent who was wrongly accused of beating up some other girl...I get to go through "objection" drills, too!
but I'm really excited! $50! (and possibly more, depending on how big the role really is)
So, the moral of this story? Play Phoenix Wright!
It's such a great game, I'm actually considering looking into law... When I told my mom this, it turns out both my mom and my dad applied and were accepted to great law schools...but neither of them went! They were both going to be lawyers! How weird is that?
Hm...

Side note: Hey Mickey, I haven't talked to you in a while
response to sidenote: this is true! we haven't spoken in like a million years!
(although the sad thing is I don't even have a DS. I got started on Phoenix Wright by watching youtube walkthroughs of the first game, and then resorted to, er, somewhat drastic measures in order to play the second, and so forth, haha)
So how's it been going? Obviously your acting career is taking off. Except, I suppose, it was always pretty good in school anyways. BUT REAL acting is much more exciting, obviously.
It's going well! High school is fabulous, although my school is crazy! (For example: today our lunch was interrupted by a girl in a gorilla suit in a tutu singing...)
How are you?
High school is being quite fun, and I also find myself with a lot of free time. Winter, however, is starting to get on my nerves... (cold and I don't mix very well).
...but just when I think it's finally spring it snows again
However, at least bad weather gives me an excuse as to why I'm on the computer all day, pathetic person as I am. I've become somewhat of a youtube addict since the Phoenix Wright craze.
I was only in my school plays, haha~~ and...phoenix wright...i want it, but can't bring myself to spend money on ds games : O
but...i am so cheap
I've heard so many good things about it!
but, anyways, good luck! i think it is so cool~
And is it surprising? I guess it is, not many people expect it from me! Someday I'll be famous, then you'll know! (hahaha, just kidding)
